Jewelry Repair
Careful jewelry repair, handled with respect.
Ring sizing, stone setting, chain repair, soldering, prong retipping, and polishing — done on-site by a jeweler who understands that most pieces have both financial and sentimental value.
The approach
Pieces you love, treated the way we'd want ours treated.
A grandmother's ring, a wedding band, a chain that broke on the way home from work — we treat every piece the way we'd want our own family jewelry treated. That means an honest look, clear options, and careful work by someone who's been doing this since 2012.
Repair evaluations are free, and we'll take the time to explain what your options are and what each one costs before any work begins. If you're not sure whether the piece is worth repairing, we'll tell you honestly. Some pieces are worth saving because of their meaning, some because of their value, some for both — and some, honestly, aren't. Whichever it is, you'll hear it straight.
All work happens on-site. Your ring, chain, or setting stays in the shop from drop-off through pick-up — never bagged and sent to a repair house three states away. If you'd rather stay while a quick sizing or solder is done, you're welcome to wait at the counter and watch.

Common repairs
A quick word on the work we see most.
Ring sizing — most rings can be sized up or down a few sizes without affecting the design. We size gold, silver, and platinum on-site; more complex bands with channel-set stones take longer because the setting has to be protected during the work.
Stone setting & prong retipping— if a stone fell out, bring both stone and setting. If it's lost, we'll talk about matching or replacing it and what that costs. Loose prongs get retipped or rebuilt so nothing goes missing again.
Chain repair & soldering— a broken chain almost always solders back cleanly. Bring both ends. If a clasp is worn out, we'll replace it with something that matches.
Polishing & cleaning— everyday wear leaves scratches; we polish out the scuffs without over-buffing the metal and hand-clean stones so the piece looks like itself again.
