Watch Repair

Careful watch repair, done in-house.

Mechanical and quartz repair, batteries, crystal replacement, bracelet resizing, polishing, and cleaning — all handled on-site by a local jeweler.

The approach

Every watch opened, every option explained.

Whether it's a daily-wear Seiko that stopped ticking or a mechanical piece you've had for decades, we open every watch up, diagnose the problem, and explain your options before any work begins. Most repairs are quoted with a free estimate.

We won't push a service you don't need. If a battery is all it takes, that's what we'll do. If a movement needs a full clean and oil, we'll show you why — and you decide from there. Nothing gets shipped overseas: every case, every crystal, every bracelet link stays on the bench in West Des Moines.

Quartz movements usually just need a fresh battery and a seal check, and we can turn those around while you shop the mall. Mechanical watches take more time — the movement needs to be pulled, cleaned, oiled, and timed on a regulating machine. We'll walk you through the timeline and the cost before anything comes apart. Vintage pieces get extra care: matching original parts where we can, honest guidance where we can't.

What we repair

What it costs

A free look before a quote.

We don't publish a price list because no two watches are the same. A quartz battery is affordable and quick. A crystal replacement depends on the model and the part. A full mechanical service is priced after we open the movement. What we can promise: bring the watch in, we'll look at it for free, and you'll leave with a real number — not a range on a website.

If a repair costs more than the watch is worth, we'll say so. Some pieces are worth restoring because of the sentimental value; some aren't worth the work. That's a decision only you can make — our job is to give you the information to make it well.
